الجرائم الناشئة عن نقل العدوى بفيروس كورونا المستجد في قانون العقوبات البحريني Crimes from the Transmission of Coronavirus (Covid 19) under the Bahraini Penal Code

Given the dangers of the pandemic of the coronavirus, given the speed of its spread and the infection that results
from it, which may occur through contact with infected people, or through contamination of places contact or otherwise, all
of this can encourage some patients to deliberately transmit the disease to others for one reason or another. Besides, the
infection may result from wrong behaviors or failure to comply with the instructions issued by the official authorities - this is
likely to lead to loss of life, harming people with the disease thus ending in criminal consequences. Committing these crimes
might be encouraged by the fact that it is always difficult to prove commission of such crimes. For this reason, I have decided
to study this important and serious issue. It is imperative that the Bahrain legislator take this issue seriously and proscribe
penalties, whether in the Penal Code or other relative laws, for these crimes, The importance of the research stems from the
necessity of applying the penal law or special punitive laws to those acts that transmit new Corona virus, as well as the need
to enforce criminal procedures, whether by the public prosecution or the judiciary for the purpose of applying those penalties
to limiting the spread of the disease .
